This was a super quick project that I whipped up out of remnants from my Blue Velvet coat specifically for the purpose of creating a how-to on fake fur. Check out my how-to if you want to make your own easy and stylish muff or need some tips on sewing with fake fur!

I would love to have some "How-To’s " on making things out of Faux Fur… I want to make a Jacket… For my 3 year-old(going on 4) stepdaughter… She loves Pink… I’ve picked out a shaggy fuax fur(pink)… I’ve drawn up the designs… But I’m stumped on how to make the insides not so itchy… is there a fabric that is warm (inside of the jacket) and not itchy? She has sensitive skin.

sweet! when i opened the pic i thought ’she’s got a left-over from the blue velvet coat’ :) nice (and environmental/wallet friendly) to use up the left-overs and it will keep your hands warm in (the rainy) aachen (i lived there for a 1/2 year once)
