Description

This is a muslin for a mesh maxi dress I want to make using the Fatina Plus dress as a basic pattern. My husband accidentally cut off the right shoulder so I had to reattach it with stretch binding!

I cut size 54 and found it was a touch too big, but no hassle to alter. I’ll be figuring how to draft a sleeve for this dress next! I’d love to make a long sleeved maxi dress out of black mesh, but can see all kinds of variations for this very simple pattern.

    i so like this and if you hadn’t said anything about your hubby cutting off the right shoulder i wouldn’t have picked it. i just thought it was a bit of detail….

    I like that fabric! Why don’t you try the same fabric in different color for the sleeves?
