My housemate went to Ghana and returned laden with some amazing fabrics, including this peacock feather print. It’s quite a coarse, stiff cotton but should wash down softer, as soon as I saw it I thought of the Fatina. I drafted the neck quite high and wide and did some simple facings for the arms and neck, and put two long, narrow darts in the back to give it some more shape as it’s quite a boxy pattern!
Ghanian cotton, a kind of peacock print, zipper, and hook/eyelet combo. Hemming tape for facings.
