I made a shaving kit for my Dad for Father’s Day! It’s sewn out of cotton duck cloth with a leather strap. I used Otter Wax (best thing ever!) to wax the fabric so that it is water resistant and has the appearance of oilcloth. I used Chicago Screws to attach the handle so that I didn’t need any speciality tools to apply rivets (plus, I don’t really like using a hammer lol).
If you want to make a bag like this, head on over to our store because we just released all the supplies as a Bag Making Supplies Kit and I put together a tutorial on how to make this shaving kit :). (Plus, shipping is FREE right now!)
