I decided to make a fascinator to go with my dress for the Melbourne Cup rather than buying one as the one’s I liked were really expensive.
I’m really pleased with the result.
I used turquoise silk dupion for the ribbon. I bought my sinamay base with hairclip and feathers from www.feather.com.au. The bead was from a $2 packet from Spotlight as was the satin bias.
