My version of the scarf dress for the contest! This was a quick sew. It took me awhile to figure out what I wanted to do, and I decided to go simple. I found these scarves at Old Navy (see last pic). I bought 2 and they were huge! 22″×78″! But, because they were a bit transparent, I just folded them in half, then sewed front to back, hemmed, shirred only two rows because I prefer the look, and gathered the shoulders using the same shirring technique. What a great new technique to have in my toolkit :) Love it! I love that this is something I would actually wear also, and since there are so few seams, if I ever get sick of it, it would be easy peasy to take apart and create something else!
2 jersey scarves from Old Navy :) Loved the color- sorry for the faded nighttime pics!
