Description

For those of you who have seen the movie and were equally smitten with Felicity Fox, here is my version of her dress. I used a vintage pattern (Simplicity 7242) , not an exact replica, but close enough for me. I had to hand paint all those apples as I could not find the fabric, which probably doesn’t even exist. I still need to add the button on the collar too. I just couldn’t wait to share with you. This dress makes me very happy. This is why I sew!

Material Notes

Organic cotton. Hand painted apples.

ZOMG! Soooooo cute, love your inspiration. Haven’t seen the movie but if it inspired you enough to hand paint tiny apples then it must be a must see :)
