I sew this swing dress by using burda’s pattern. The only modification I made was to make the hem as a buble hem. I did this because the cotton fabric I used was so heavy that I felt that I needed little lift on the bottom of the hem to complement the waist. Other solution I thought of was to shorten the hem or to wear the dress with thick petticoat. This was the first dress I have ever made and I was really pleased at the outcome!
