  Minitwob, if i am not mistaken i used Burda magazine from the 27/2008.Its the same fabrics i used for the whole dress.. sort of satin, but i used right side for shiny parts and left side of the fabrics for the other parts of the dress.

  which Burda magazine was this? I like the mix of fabrics. Is it jersey and satin you used?

  So nice!!! I also wondered about the look of it on an Non-Size-Zero type of woman :-) I’m invited to a wedding and was playing with thought to use the pattern for the dress. Looks still as if this is the right thing to wear…

  Hi Girls! Well, you are not the only one who was worried about the shape of the dress and your body type!I am also not a model….but i decided to take a risk and i am not regreting about it!Maybe it doesnt mae me look skinny but it looks just fine.At least my friends said it looks cool. For Nikkiclare68.I did not have any problems with the dress or instrutions, i made the dress for one day:)But i wish you good luck to all who are sewing this dress right now and hop to see it on the site!:)

  This is beautiful! You did a great job! I’m working on the same dress right now and am going slowly w/ the neck and collar attachment. Did you have any trouble w/ those instructions? Maybe I am because I’ve never made a neck like this? Have fun wearing this!

  It’s beautiful. I saw that one too, although I don’t have the issue and thought the same thing about my body type. I’m wondering though how it would look color blocked, maybe that would work on my square shape. I’m not sure how the pieces are designed though. Great work!

  It looks so great! I have this one on my to-do list, too. i didn’t start it yet because i wasn’t sure wether this shape would fit my body type. but i love yours!
