My daughter has been asking for a flamenco dress for some time now, so I decided to make her one. In the shop she was verry persistent in her choise of fabric, she chose a red and blue polkadot fabric. As this only came in a synthethic quality we had some discussion,…(I hated it). For the bodice I used red Lycra, and black lace fabric for the trimming (lace ribbon was too expensive).
I drafted the pattern myself, for the bodice i used a simple t-shirt pattern, I lowered the neckline and aded more widt to the sleeves to give them more volume, the skirt is a full circle.
