My angel costume for a festival last ‘summer’ in England. I made it in one day, so its not great. In fact its the same problem i have everytime i make a dress – the bodice is always way too big – despite having measured myself properly. This one gaped massively at the back. Does anyone know what i am doing wrong?

I unfortunately cannot say what you’ve been doing wrong, especially since I am a novice who avoids darts and fitted bodices when possible! But this dress is very pretty, and looks cute with the rain boots. Did you ever fix the bodice so that you’ll enjoy wearing it more?
