Description

It really does remind me of a cake :-)
After I thought I finished the dress, I found out that it was way transparent. so I had to add the lining underneath. That done, there was an awkward bulge in the seam between the upper and lower dress pieces, so I added the lacy trim to hide it.

Material Notes

very soft and light cotton. for the lining - I had to use some syntactic stuff I found in my stash... as I swore not to come near a fabric shop in the next few month (I don't have any more room for those fabrics!)
