Simple cropped vest made from pre-ruffled jersey.
Loosely based on a pattern from Burda Style magazine 04/10. I used the basic shape but made the pattern 2 pieces instead of 3 with a princess seam. I also needed to adjust the shape under the arm in the side seam due to the alterations. I left the edges raw.
It was incredibly easy and very quick to make (whipped it up when we had a quiet 5 minutes at work one afternoon).
I’d like to make more of these in different fabrics, maybe reversible? A linen one would be nice!

Yay!! pixie crops rule! Jersey comes pre ruffled those days… that’s progress! The bolero looks super great for its 5minutes+ conception!

It looks really cool! And your haircut fits it too! :)
