I bought this lovely cotton lyrca fabric from the bargain basement at dressew and loved it so much I wanted to make something I could wear all of the time. I used the pattern for the basic tank, with a skirt. Initially I’d tried for a flouncy skirt (which the pattern calls for), but cotton lycra looks pretty awful when it flounces. So I tightened it up. It’s just long enough that I can wear it with a pair of sandles, or over a pair of skinny jeans. Now that it’s tight fitting, I wish I would have made it one long tank, rather than separates. But I guess I know better next time.
Cotton lycra.
