I embroidered this pillow for my mom for Christmas. Each reindeer has a button nose and a cute little ribbon and bell around their neck. The fabric for the pillow is a soft Christmas flannel, which ended up matching the comforter/pillows of the guest room bed really well!
I got the idea for the reindeer pillow from YouCanMakeThis.com. The instructions have you color in the reindeer with crayons but I decided to use tea-dyed muslin for the reindeer bodies instead. The pattern also calls for back stitching only but I decided to use a blanket stitch to secure the fabric bodies.
Muslin, tea bags (to dye the muslin), embroidery floss, buttons, ribbons, bells, flannel.
