So this is my first try ever in sewing something (besides the mouse in primary school).
My sister asked me to join a sewing course, because she didn’t want to do it alone (by the way, my sister is addicted to sewing and fashion) and in a moment of mental absence, i said yes.
The Mila instructions said intermediate, and i LOVED the pattern, so i thought, together with a teacher it would work out somehow.
It began with the choose of fabrics. NEVER go and choose fabric on your own when it is your first time sewing. It was kind of a funny experience trying to describe all the different fabrics to my sister on the mobile phone.
I’ll skip the story of cutting, trying to work out the right order of the pieces, my difficulties with the english descriptions and bust darts, etc. I did NOT finish it in the course. Luckily, my grandma visited us last weekend and helped me like three days to finish it.
And now….IT’S FINISHED!!!! And i like sewing.
The skirt is wool fabric, don't know how to describe it, the top is a grey wool knit. In the beginning, I was planning to do it the other way round, but I think it is much metter like this.
