This short sleeved dress is the Simplicty 1778 pattern. I liked the idea of the rouching, as I think it helps hide my larger tummy. I wanted to play with using an exposed zipper, since I know that a lot of my students will want to use it as well. So I used the technique that Laura Bolcina has posted on Burda Style (great tutorial!!)
The fit in the bodice isn’t great, so it looks great standing, but it’s kind of hard to move my arms around.
Italian cotton, no stretch (would have liked to have some!)
