this is a multi season skirt. The base is a simple A shape silk skirt, slightly rounded around the waist and at the hem. The “reverse apron” over-skirt is made of boiled wool, the belt and back middle line are made of the same fabric as the under-skirt. I had this idea of the over-skirt, when I was at a friend’s house, I was cold, grabbed a piece of boiled wool and wrapped it around my waist. It worked so well and it looked so good, that I decided to make one for this skirt, that is very light weight, but has fall-winter colors. I didn’t use any pattern, the under-skirt has no pinces, and I made the over-skirt shape by wrapping the fabric around me. very very simple, apart from sewing silk!!!

That is so cool! Would you do a tutorial to show how it can be made? It’s so clever.

That’s such a great idea— I love how you basically get two skirts in one!
