I’ve been in in love with the Burda 02/2014 #104 and #105 from first sight. But I know that a dress would fit my body much better than a two-piece, so I combined them.
I happen to have these two pieces of fabrics in storage and I was bold enough to combine them, as they don’t necessarily match well in traditional senses. The skirt fabric was a curtain I bought from second hand shop. It’s a little bit weird for clothing but I don’t really mind.
The size is 34. But the skirt was significantly shorted as I really don’t need much for my not-so-long legs. The top was also shortened, just a little below the waist. I made the waistband of the skirt in double layer to catch the top.
