Burda Style For people who sew

On my blog (which will be listed below) I wanted to do a little fall wardrobe for this summer, seeing as how I was never able to take part in some of the popular ones during the year (mainly because of busy college student stuff) so I thought it would be great to do some by myself for the upcoming Fall 2011. This took me around two weeks, it would have taken me just one week but I was being lazy :3 This is a very very warm cape/jacket so I would probably only wear this in the fall and beginning of winter .. maybe even some parts of spring.

Do I love it and would I make another one? FUCK YES. And maybe a beige-y color fabric with thick black venise or crocheted lace or even red velvet fabric with a faux fur trim and side pockets :D

This was my first time doing more than one buttonhole. I now know that I DESPISE BUTTONHOLES. P.S. Huzzah for 3/4 sleeves!

Material Notes

Brown fabric with light stretch (around 15 dollars), Leopard/cheetah textured fabric for lining (2 dollars), Black lining for the front (1 dollar), Handmade brown bias tape, Swirly-ombre light brown and beige buttons (15 dollars).
