It’s fall, our family hasn’t had family pictures done in years so we thought this combination would make for a fun day in the nearby fall-y area! The only problem is I couldn’t find an orange or brown anything for my 7 year old daughter. But I did have this fabulous Joel Dewberry fabric and some brown cotton…so off to the store to buy some accenting fabric and away to the sewing machine I went.
This was a pretty quick dress to make. The hardest part was threading the elastic through that 1/4" tube in the arms..pain in the butt. But I will be making this one again. My daughter loves it and I think it turned out fabulous. :) The next one will be made with some ADORABLE purple animal corduroy I bought at the same time as the coordinating fabric for this dress.
