I’m going back to the office in 2 weeks so I’ve decided to make a few skirts that I could wear and that would nicely pump ut my work shirts and jackets.
This is the first one, I found this polyester at the Coupons Saint Pierre in Paris, best place to shop for cheap fabric, I searched for hours some kind of fake leather that would not look to kitsch, this material was perfect and i got it for less that 3euros per meter!
The skirt is lined with some stretch and soft black cotton, it’s very comfy but maybe more of a winter garment than a very summery one..

I only used a pattern for the lining, the overskirt in polyester is just a rectangle of fabric, it takes time to properly take the measures and its really more practicle to build with a bust.

wow! Can you make this with another type of fabric? What pattern did you use? I just tried to make a similar one, but failed as I have no Pattern. :(
