Fairytale coat

Description

I used Burda pattern 104 from December 2011, and I made so many changes you wouldn’t think it comes from the same coat. I drew the scallops, new facings, a lining, changed the shape of the cap sleeves and of the side panels, shortened both the coat and the sleeves, inserted pockets…
Lot of work but now I have the cute and elegant coat I have been dreaming about for quite some time.
With the petals shape and the soft pink, it looks like it comes from a fairytale…

Material Notes

Heavy cotton in soft pink.
White cotton lining with pink polka dots.
Grenate buttons.

      Thank you. I guess you could if you made it in a light fabric and buttoned it all the way down. That’s a nice idea.
