Fairy Petals

Vancouver, Washi...

Shhhhhh! Don’t frighten her away! This little fairy is wearing a very simple silk flower ensemble. She is so small that her outfit only required two silk flowers….one rose and one lily. Sewing it presented some obstacles such as having to be careful not to have too much bulk (which really shows on such tiny things) and getting the fit just right so it would cling to her in just the right places. I can tell you that she is very happy with her Fairy Petals.

Thank you, ashchaser! My husband and I love to play in the great out-of-doors, and this little pixie just fit in so well with the surroundings.

Blush Aww…..thanks! She is new to my collection (I made the wig and painted her face, too) and I am enjoying her very much. I can see all kinds of flower attire in her future!
