I’ve had this fabric sitting in my stash for close to a year. it was 75% off. It was a Halloween print that was left over.
When I bought it I imagined a cute ruffled mini and this was my attempt. I wanted uneven, irregular ruffles and that is exactly what I created. One of the front ruffles is even hanging by ribbon (super cute). the reason this is a failed attempt is because idiot (me) added entirely too much ease and seam allowance to my measurements but the way the skirt is constructed I’d have to tear the whole thing apart just to shrink it.
Instead, I’m gonna sit it to the side for a little bit to vent my frustrations, then install a zipper so that I can post it in my Etsy shop…just intime for Halloween.
