I used Simplicity 4320, which is a fairly simple cardboard box construction pattern. It was fun and I made it in about 1 hour start to finish. I am going to make some more for Christmas boxes! http://creationaday.wordpress.com/
I used an old knit houndstooth print skirt to recycle into this project. Houndstooth is my older daughter's favorite and she was delighted with it.

I like this. What are the deminsions for the box? I looked at the pattern and didn’t see it. I would like to make these to put in the scarves I plan on finishing for all the females in my family for Christmas. Yes! The scarves are by ajtak7171.

this box is about the biggest on the pattern. it’s about 8″×8″×3″. they would be perfect even for a thicker scarf I’d think. The variety of sizes and styles on this pattern make it really useable. I don’t think I will every buy another gift bag!

Ok I’m sold. I hope Hancock have another sale… real soon. Or I just might have to pay full price. :)
