I found a great tutorial at purlbee.com to make these great fabric beach balls. I made this one for my son’s first birthday which is later this month, though I already gave it too him :). We’ve had great fun with it. There are three sizes available on the tute. This is the large one and I’m planning on making him the medium size as well. Maybe I’ll wait to give him that one on his actual birthday. Wonderful gift idea and quite easy to make.

this is great. i think ill try a beachball pillow. i love making pillows and this inspires me to make a sphere of some sort like this
