I created three pieces using liquid emulsion as my graphic element. Liquid emulsion allows you to place photographic imagery on the fabric in a darkroom. In this case, I used old 35mm negatives that I had shot over the summer. Though not stable, liquid emulsion allowed me to see a completely hands-on approach to my sewing and photography.
I created three pieces, a blouse, dress and handbag. The blouse and dress pattern were each from vintage patterns and the handbag is found here on BurdaStyle in the free pattern section!

Thanks. I definitely am. I’m looking into creating cyanotypes on the fabric instead of liquid emulsion.
