This is actually a vintage Burda pattern! It’s Burda #7620 Coat/Jacket.
I played around with the pattern quite a bit in the body and sleeves and spliced everything to create the stripes. I love love love working with faux fur! I’m still trying to find the line between costume and chic using faux fur but I am really happy with how this came out and can’t wait for it to be cold enough to wear.
Matched the pocket bag stripes to the body and that makes me smile. The front half of the pockets were done in silk (the pieces are so small that splurging for a tiny piece of real silk didn’t break the bank and it feels so luxurious) and the back half was done in self faux fur. The interior of the coat is lined in black rayon and closes with invisible oversized eye hooks.
The only piece I’m still in decision-mode with is the collar. Should it be in black or white….?
* many apologies for the poor photo quality – I couldn’t seem to get a good light angle tonight *
Shaggy long pile faux fur in black and white, black rayon lining, silk for pockets

Thanks DPiddy! That was super fun to incorporate! I just slashed the raglan sleeve pattern piece at the shoulder to get the two-toned, white shoulder cap.
