This skirt was my first project flying solo two years ago. I received a sewing machine from my mom (my sewing inspiration) for Christmas and spent a month or so making little things that didn’t require a pattern. Then I walked into the fabric store, determined to become a seamstress, and saw in the front entrance the most beautiful fabric I had ever seen! And so I made a skirt.
