I’m dressing up as a Dalek for Halloween this year. My husband is going to be The 10th Doctor. This is from the TV show Dr. Who. :)
Dress-satin
Bumps-the front bumps are styrofoam painted black. The back ones are felt pieces. They are glued on using fabric glue. I made the back side felt so I would be able to sit down.
Headpiece-(yeah…my husband is working on this so it’s not pictured yet)..it will have LED lights glued onto a headband

THIS IS THE COOOOLLLEESSSTTT THING EVER!!!!! My kids and I are HUGE Dr Who fans. My seven year old daughter will only watch the show if it has Daleks in it. I’m definately going to have to show my teenagers this. Well done. Shame we in australia aren’t as into halloween as you guys are. Otherwise i’d certainly be making this one.

Thank you!! I agree with your daughter! (although I did watch all of them, I like them the most when the shows have daleks in them!)

They loved it! My son suggested a bluelight torch in your hand. And the daughter thought one of those hiking head torches would set the whole thing off nicely.

I love this! You did a great job. I wish I could get my hubby to go as Dr. Who. Great idea making the back bumps felt.
