Thank you! There is not moch need to be done. extend the length from waist along the side line. For example, if you want a A-line shape, put a A-line pattern on top of it, cover it up from the waistline to the bottom.

I like it!! I have had the same idea myself with a shirt pattern- how does it sit on the figure? Did you have to do many alterations?
