I’ve been in love with the expanding universe shirt of anthropologie ever since I saw it. Too bad that lovely brand is so ridiculously expensive. So I decided to try and make one myself.
I bought myself some brown/blue striped jersey, not the cutest colours, but it was cheap and I had to figure out a lot, so I thought I’d try the whole thing first before cutting up some expensive fabric. If i succeeded I could go and buy myself some more pretty stuff.
It was quite hard to figure out the whole thing without a pattern, just from a photo on my laptop, but it worked! Although It was hard to get it to fit around my chest, and in the end the side seam got a bit weird from all the alterations, so it peaks around the corner a bit. But I think it fits the strangeness of the shirt, luckily I like this little mistake.
30 select jacket and coat patterns are now marked down to $3.99.
