A pair of comfortable but classy exercise pants. These are made in a light cotton, not stretch, with a very pretty pattern of blue-on-blue on the fabric – it’s not a print, but slightly transparent insets, I’m not quite sure how it’s made to achieve this effect. I made the leg cuffs slightly shorter and also added a waist band with two buttons to hold it up. I thought of ties but wanted something a bit more elegant, and I tried a hook and eye first but getting it hooked up was too finicky. The buttons look snappy.
I used the trouser block technique I posted to make the pants. My friend Mona is modeling (and the person receiving the gift of the pants – she’s a posture and exercise coach and needs them!)
