Burda Style For people who sew

i made this charlie bag for my latest “oona does it!” challenge at the sew weekly. challenge inspiration by daughter fish (sprucedoll here at BS)
i printed the pattern at 100%, then cut away four inches of width from the center front. i lengthened the straps, then clipped the curves at center front to make it more angular.
the snakeskin denim lining was supposed to be the main fabric! speaking of lining… terrifically impossible for my wee brain to figure out that how-to. i ended up attaching the lining to the bag right sides together, leaving the tops of the shoulder straps and a 3 inch hole in the bottom of the lining bag open. then i pulled the lining though the openings in the straps, sewed up the bottom lining hole, and connected the straps. two strips of leather hide the shoulder seams.
