This was made for an exhibition that was designed to further awareness and raise funds for Breast Cancer Reseach. Each bra was to represent, celebrate, or commemorate a woman – and who better than the first woman, Eve? I tried to capture the essence of what I would imagine to be the Garden of Eden, mainly with texture and colour. I used quite a few techniques such as felting, applique, free hand embroidery, the use of dissolvable fabric and others. Though I’d say it’s unfinished (it’s difficult to know when to stop!) I’m quite pleased with how this turned out :)
