A Gentleman’s evening waistcoat for wearing with a tailcoat to white tie events. This was based on a McCalls pattern, number 5108, published in 1990.
This is a Jolly Dicey project, constructed by myself and my partner Su.
The front is made from herringbone weave raw silk suiting. The lining is a silk and rayon mix twill. Light weight fusible cotton interfacing was used for the front, collar and pocket welts.
