This pattern came from Burda Magazine of May 2007. Very easy to ensemble. I used this embroided silk crepe and combine it with some wine red accents.
Double seems on the yokes.
It is lovely, feminine and you can wear also in the winter with a black collar top beneath
Embroided silk crepe
(I just needed 1 meter)

Thank you guys for the comments. Here I am uploading the original dress in the magazine (eventhough the published 3 versions with the same pattern) the stitching wasn’t my idea and it was a little difficult to make to keep both fabrics in the right possition. Dianacirne you must try this pattern because looks difficult but it isn’t. You just have to have a little patient for matching the small pieces in the front, while you are patient and get it the rest is piece of cake. Come on and let us know …

This is probably the most classy version of this pattern I’ve seen. (And that’s saying someting, because I’ve seen quite a few of them;) Love the fabric, and it looks so good on you! This pattern is one of my favourites. I’m currently on my third verson of it, and it’s so much fun to see other interpretations. And Dianacirne, it’s not all that difficult. If you can get hold of the magazine, they even have illustrated sewing directions for it.

Beautiful! Excellent choice of fabric, especially the band you used (some kind of lace, I guess). And the jewlery matches it perfectly! The dress looks very flattering on you.
