Step 3 Constructing the Skirt
You should have some leaves left over for this part. Hot glue leaves to the bottom of the shoe laces.
Take the jersey and using either a dress form or your body, drape and pin the fabric as desired. The jersey should stretch, so you can simply take the skirt off of your body/form and zig-zag stitch/serge the top. Next pin the top of the fabric under about 3/4", or double if you want to roll the top seam. Stitch along the top.
Hot glue the remaining leaves to the inside of the skirt so they peak out of the top.
