Made this cropped trousers a while back but updated the look with a fresh cropped top. The trousers is from a burda pattern that I cant seem to locate because it probably it is out of print.
The trousers has two wide pockets that meets at the front and goes all around to the sides. It has no sides seams. Gathers are at the front to provide volume and free flow movement and a zipper is place at the back. Bands are place at the ends to hold it in place. I use knits because it provides for comfort, conforms to the body and captures the style perfectly.
The crop top is from March 2013. It has a cowl design and is very short in the front and longer in the back. It is simple yet it goes perfectly well with the trouser and very suitable for hot days and night.
I wore it out to a food fair in the night and was very fashionable and cool :-)
