Portable changing pad. 100% recycled materials!
The top is pink poly flannel (absorbant), the middle is home-made cotton batting, the bottom layer is the lining of a wool coat I deconstructed, nylon I think. The bottom liner is scarily water repellant but soft, silky and washable – I even prewashed it at 90° and then dried it on the highest setting and it came out just as water repellant and soft as before I threw it in! I wish I had more of that stuff. Ties are some leftover satin ribbon I had lying about, simple bias tape binding in black cotton to finish the edges.
I want to say this – going out to actually buy your own cotton batting is actually pretty cheap. If you have a fabric store in the vicinity that carries any at all. I don’t. insert teary eyes here
nylon, polyester fleece, cotton, satin ribbon, cotton bias binding tape
