Me-made linen trousers I made a few months ago. Why is pants fitting so mysterious and confusing?
These are underlined in silk organza to help with wrinkling and bagging out. Notes and more pictures here.
Heavy, slubby linen with contrasting warp and weft threads.

They look stunning on you! I love the result, and I clicked through to your blog site and read all about the process too. WOW! You put a lot of work and re-work into those pants. Good to know for someone (like me) who assumes that you probably just whipped them up without any major drama. I’ll keep your experience in mind when (if) I ever attempt to make these pants for myself. Thanks for your posting. It was entertaining and also very edumacational for me ;) Very well done.

This is great! I love the wide waistband, and the color is very pretty, but still neutral enough to go with a wide variety of colors.
I have yet to try fitting a pants pattern… I’m not quite at that level yet. Maybe it’s so hard because if you’re doing it yourself you have to bend over to do it and just doing that alters the shape of your legs… Anyway, well done!
