Eponym: substitutes for a particular attribute the name of a famous person recognized for that attribute. By their nature eponyms often border on the cliche, but many times they can be useful without seeming too obviously trite.
This handkerchief was from the kit that I won on this site a few months ago from Alabama Chanin. Finally got around to making this bandana, but it was easier and more enjoyable than I thought it would be. It totally makes me think of Little House on the Prairie, and it reminds me of my grandma, who put her hair up in a bandana when she cooked.
