I decided to make the envelope clutch in a simplistic black style for a friend. I sewed together two straps one long and one short ruffled elastic which can be placed in the bag so it hangs neatly.
I added a brooch for decoration.
Material Notes
All material from Leons fabric in Chorlton, Greater Manchester UK. Unfortunately I don't know the material type. I'm not very good at material names unless it's cotton! THe outside was a shiney material and the inside a thicker embroidered material.
