Sewed this dress after seeing a very similar one in a catalog. The bodice has sewn pleats and the skirt is attached. The black belt is removable. My own pattern.

I have been wanting to make one of these, but kept thinking that the belt needed to be attached to the skirt. Great idea with the removable piece.

Thanks! I wanted the dress to be a pullover style for comfort’s sake and I thought it would change the look entirely if I used a different belt from time to time. It also made the construction of the dress a lot easier!
