Description

Madeleine Mini Bloomers by Colette Patterns made with my Matchmaker fabric printed by Spoonflower as an Easter present for my younger niece.

I made these ones a little longer just to make them look a little different than the other ones I made.

I added jewel detail on the waistband and had to improvise for the ribbon. The ribbon I bought to use frayed terribly immediately, so I cut a thin strip of red jersey knit and used it. I also used a single strip of thicker elastic in the waistband rather than the double strips that were called for.

I couldn’t have been happier with pattern or the fabric from Spoonflower. This whole drawing something then printing it on fabric might just become a dangerous hobby.
