I found some lovely sheer fabric while visiting my new granddaughter and son and his wife and although I had a picture in my head of what I wanted to do with the fabric, I could not find a pattern that I liked so I made one up.
I used cotton for the bodice and lining so it wouldn’t be too hot to wear in San Diego at the Marine Base. I used vintage lace from the 60’s and antique glass buttons. I didn’t have quite enough vintage lace to go around so I added a bow to cover the gap. It turned out very sweet.
