Three-quarter length coat, with contrasting faux leather ties, and matching faux leather skirt, with faux fur trim.
The pattern did not call for lining, but due to the harshness of the inside of the faux fur, I added black lining.
The fur is very realistic, faux leopard fur. The faux leather, is a tiny animal print, of some sort. I’m not sure what the animal would be. It has a suede finish. Both were purchased at Walmart, in Oct. 2008, at the same time I bought the pattern: Simplicity pattern No: 2780. I have not been able to find either since. However, did find something similar to the faux leather, at JoAnn Fabrics, in my local store, the other day.
I am not sure what the black lining is called, but it was originally purchased for a blouse, and has a crepe type feel to it – very soft to the hand.
