Here is a fun variation of our classic Emily blouse. With wide bell sleeves and a sweet flat collar, this is a great addition to any wardrobe. The BS-021 Emily Variation 1 PDF pattern contains the collar, sleeve, and sleeve cuff variations. You will also need to download the original Emily pattern for the rest of the blouse pieces.

so, you guys are still selling the emily variation for $3.00 yet it comes with no additional instructions – i assumed to attach the collar i’d make the collar stand as included in the original pattern. but alas, i now have a ridiculous looking collar faux pas and no idea how to fix it. there’s been some talk on here, and many people referencing a long-vanished site which had a tutorial, but surely burda should be providing even just a basic peter pan collar tutorial, particularly as it is in one of their patterns?!? please burdastyle – sort this glaring omission out!! (or alternatively, someone post their own guide to pp collars?)

I love the way you play with fabrics. I like the collar alot but I’m not so crazy about the sleeves because I think I’m too old for this type of sleeves. Anyhow, I’ll make this shirt with your collar and come up with other sleeve variation. Thank you so much Burdastyle team members.
