Added Aug 27, 2013
Five years after first making it I have just revisited this pattern. This time, to compensate for weight gain, I added ease equal to another size at the sides of the front. I also made other, minor fit alterations: lengthened the body and sleeves by 2cm; sloped the shoulder seams downwards from neck to shoulder by 2cm and scooped out the sleeves and armholes by 2cm to compensate; and lowered the bust dart by 4cm to compensate for my lower bust line. The result is a perfect fit.
I have made another two versions, also in Liberty prints.
This pattern has now been discontinued but is still available as a download from this site.
1. Maurice, a Liberty of London design from 2009 in black and grey.
2. Mauvey by Liberty, in mauve, blue and grey.
3. Pela`s Roses by Liberty, in blue and green.
